O₂ – Healthy roots

For orchids, we choose a potting mix with a coarse structure and high air content. Providing enough oxygen around the roots is one of the most important factors in keeping your beloved orchid in top condition.

'Light' feeding for 5 weeks

This potting soil contains a light fertilizer that feeds the plant for up to 5 weeks. This gentle nutrition helps the plant recover and strengthen after repotting. However, nutrients can be washed out fairly quickly during watering and drainage, so it’s important to regularly add a small dose of liquid fertilizer to the watering water.

Bark Chips: Airy & Well-Draining

Regular watering followed by proper drainage is essential. That’s why this mix contains coarsely structured ingredients, including Pinus maritima bark chips (10–20 mm) and blond peat (10–30 mm). Together, they create an excellent growing medium for the plant with more than enough drainage capacity.

Tip

An orchid needs enough water but hates having wet feet. Always make sure no water is left standing in the pot or saucer, as this can damage the roots. Regular feeding with a liquid fertilizer in the watering water will help keep your orchid healthy.
