pH < 5.5 – Acid-Loving Plants

Acid-loving (or lime-hating) plants require acidic soil for optimal growth and nutrient uptake. The soil’s pH should be kept low and not mixed with other ingredients that could reduce its acidity and effectiveness.

Dual-Action Nutrition up to 15 Weeks

This soil contains a dual fertilizer system: a fast-acting fertilizer for the first 5 weeks to support early growth, and an organic fertilizer that gradually releases nutrients for up to 15 weeks. After this period, or sooner if needed, additional feeding can be applied.

Coconut: Absorbs Water Easily

Many acid-loving plants like azaleas and rhododendrons have very fine root systems that often wrap tightly around the root ball. These plants need consistent moisture but are sensitive to overwatering, which can harm their roots. Adding coconut fiber helps water spread evenly throughout the root ball, allowing the plant to absorb water more efficiently without overwatering.

Tip

Check that there are enough drainage holes at the bottom of the pot or container. Water your plants regularly, but avoid overwatering, preferably in the evening. Watering in the strong afternoon sun is not recommended. Instructions for use

Step 1

Water the plant thoroughly before planting and carefully remove it from the pot.

Step 2

Place a layer of clay pebbles (hydrogranulate) at the bottom of the pot or container for good drainage and fill it halfway with potting soil.

Step 3

Place the plant in the pot or container and fill the rest with potting soil.

Step 4

Press the soil lightly to just below the rim of the pot and water well.
